The Keys Coach provides online educational content, courses, coaching, and resources designed to help piano players develop their skills creatively and confidently. These services are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental or guardian consent. By accessing our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Intellectual Property

All content provided by The Keys Coach, including videos, PDFs, course materials, and branding, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or sell our content without prior written permission.

4. User Conduct & Fair Use Policy

Our services should only be used for lawful purposes. Users must not share or distribute course materials, login credentials, or paid content with others. Activities such as hacking, data mining, or any action that could harm the website or disrupt the user experience are strictly prohibited. Additionally, live coaching sessions, Q&As, and support services should be used fairly to ensure all participants have reasonable access.

5. Accounts & Security

When creating an account, you must provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Account sharing is prohibited, and any violation may result in suspension or termination of access.

6. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

A 14-day cooling-off period is offered for refunds as per UK consumer law. Additionally, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all purchases. To request a refund, simply email support@thekeyscoach.com within 30 days of your purchase.

6.1 Payment Plan Terms

By selecting the payment plan option with any of our courses or products, you agree to complete all scheduled payments as outlined at checkout.

• Payment Commitment: The payment plan is not a subscription; it is a commitment to pay the full course price in installments. You are responsible for completing all payments, regardless of course progress or usage.

• Money-Back Guarantee: You may request a refund within 30 days of purchase, provided you meet the refund conditions stated in our policy. If approved, all future payments will be canceled, and any prior payments refunded. After this period, all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.

• Failed Payments: If a scheduled payment fails, you will receive a notification and have 7 days to update your payment method. If payment is not received within this period, access to the course may be suspended until the balance is settled. Access will be reinstated upon successful payment.

• Cancellation Policy: After the guarantee period expires, the payment plan cannot be canceled, and all remaining payments must be completed as agreed upon at checkout. If payments are not completed as agreed, access to the course may be revoked, and outstanding balances may still be due.

7. Course Access & Lifetime Membership

Access to courses begins once payment is received. If lifetime access is offered, it applies to the duration in which The Keys Coach continues to offer the course as an active service. If The Keys Coach discontinues the course or platform, reasonable efforts will be made to provide alternative access. We reserve the right to update or discontinue courses as needed. If a course is discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure existing users retain access or receive an alternative course of equal value.

8. Feedback Pathway

If you have opted for the Feedback Pathway in any of our online courses, you will receive a set number of credits to submit videos for feedback throughout the course. All video submissions must be completed within 12 months from the date of purchase. We aim to provide feedback within 5 working days unless exceptional circumstances arise, such as unforeseen technical issues, a high volume of submissions, or staff unavailability due to illness. In such cases, we will inform you of any delays as soon as possible, with a maximum delay of 14 days where feasible.

If you request a refund as part of our 30-day money-back guarantee but have already submitted and received feedback on one or more videos, the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly to account for the feedback provided.

9. Use of Teachable Platform

By accessing our courses hosted on Teachable, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. The materials on Teachable are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Additionally, users are also subject to Teachable’s Terms of Service, and The Keys Coach is not responsible for any changes in Teachable’s service policies.

9.1 Use Licence

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on Teachable for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is a grant of a licence, not a transfer of title. Under this licence, you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials;

• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for public display (commercial or non-commercial);

• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Teachable;

• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or

• Transfer the materials to another person or 'mirror' the materials on any other server.

This licence shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by The Keys Coach at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

We aim to provide high-quality content, but we do not guarantee specific results. In exceptional circumstances, where delays may occur, we will notify you as soon as possible. Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Testimonials and examples are for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee similar results.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Keys Coach is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. However, this limitation does not affect statutory consumer rights under applicable laws.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Users outside the UK acknowledge that their use of our services remains subject to these terms while also retaining their local consumer rights as applicable. In case of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to mediation before any formal legal proceedings. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the English courts.
